Welcome Back - we’ve missed you!
Our team at the Clintonville Animal Hospital is thrilled to announce that effective, Monday, June 28th,we will invite those pet parents who wish to accompany their furry friends for doctor’s visits to once again join them in the exam room. We understand that everyone’s comfort level is different, and rest assured that curbside services will continue to be available. Whether you opt to come inside the practice for the appointment or utilize curbside service, your pet will be treated with the same compassionate level of care. Please review our updated policies and feel free to contact us with any questions.
· All prescription/food pick-ups, surgery drop-offs, and technician appointments will continue to be curbside services. Please call the office when you arrive, and our friendly staff will get you checked-in and/or assist with check-out.
· If you choose to come into the building for your pet’s medical appointment, upon arrival, please call the office. Our Front Desk team will notify a veterinary assistant or technician that you are here for an appointment and that team member will then call you to discuss your pet’s history. Once an exam room becomes available, a member of the CAH staff will come out to get you and your pet. As a safety precaution for all clients and Hospital staff, masks are required to be worn by everyone entering the building (regardless of vaccination status,) and must be kept on at all times. Our lobby will remain closed. We ask that you remain in the exam room until your appointment is finished and a team member will escort you to the lobby to check out.
· Should you opt for curbside service for your pet’s exams and doctor visits, Clintonville Animal Hospital will continue to utilize the same COVID protocols that have been in place over the course of the past year. Please call when you arrive and a member of our team will call you back to obtain a history for your pet’s visit. Once the doctor is ready to see your pet, one of our team members will come out to escort your pet inside the building. The doctor will call you to go over their exam findings and discuss any treatment plans or medications. Once your pet’s visit is complete, one of our team members will return your pet to your car and collect payment to close your invoice.
I would like to take a moment to extend my personal appreciation to our amazing clients for their kindness, patience, and trust in our team over the course of this past year. We’ve truly missed seeing your smiling faces, and even though we will all still be masked, we’re excited to see your smiling eyes when you’re ready to return. Our staff understands that COVID has not been an easy time for anyone; we feel very fortunate that our team was able to provide excellent medical care for your furry family members throughout the pandemic. We are a small, but growing hospital with an invaluable team who perform a mighty amount of work! I need to give an enormous “shout out” and thank you to all of the amazing Clintonville Animal Hospital staff who continued to go above and beyond to offer the highest level of veterinary care possible.
The safety of our clients, patients, and team continues to be of utmost importance and we value your patience and understanding as protocols are developed and revised based on updated insight and information.
